First call for papers for the 2nd Global Conference on Renewable
Energy Approaches for Desert Regions “GCREADER2009” Will be held on October
28-3, 2009 in Amman, Jordan. Hosted by the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan
and Limerick University, Ireland. Organized by the Energy Center Known for its
innovative and collaborative approach with other international institutions as
well as its outstanding contributions. Papers from the power industry and
academies are strongly encouraged .
Past conferences of (GCREADER) attracted professionals from the
industry and academia from many countries worldwide.
GCREADER2009 OBJECTIVES
The objective of (GCREADER2009) is to provide a
forum for thoughtful evaluations and discussions regarding up-to-date
developments of solar, wind, bio-mass and other sources of renewable energy
basic research, technologies and applications mainly in desert regions.
GCREADER2009 EXHIBITION
An exhibition will go in parallel with the activities of the
conference. This will be free for visitors to acquire knowledge about the most
up-to-date technologies in the field of renewable energy and its applications.
VENUE
The conference will be held at the University of Jordan, located
in Amman, Jordan.

INFORMATION TO AUTHORS
ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS Authors are asked to submit a 300 –
500 word abstract to the conference GCREADER2008@ju.edu.jo, or via online
submission on the conference website: GCREADER2008.ju.edu.jo, by April 1st,
2008; indicating title, author(s) name(s), position, affiliation, telephone, fax
and e-mail, full papers should be submitted by July 1st, 2008 for review, upon
acceptance, the final paper including revisions based on reviewer’s comments
should be submitted by September 1st, 2008.
The abstract format is to be -Font:
Times New Roman font 12, aligned to left. -Title: Times New Roman font 14, bold.
-Title: Times New Roman font 14, bold.
A template format for full paper will be posted on the conference
website. For citation and referencing, Harvard style is recommended, authors are
kindly requested to follow Harvard style.

REVIEW
The acceptance of any paper in the conference will be based upon
blind peer review.
The official language
for abstracts, papers and discussions are in English language. Papers in Arabic
language are also accepted for reviewing.
PUBLICATIONS AND SPECIAL ISSUES
A
selected 30 papers will be published in two International Journals as "Special
Issues" with Guest Editors, fifteen for each, the Journal is:

The registration fees include: reception banquet,
refreshments, conference handouts, and CD-Rom Proceedings, Book of Abstracts.
For inclusion of an accepted paper in the conference proceedings, at least one
author of the paper must register at the conference.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Conference proceedings will include Keynote addresses and papers. CD-Rom
proceedings will be distributed on the conference first day at the registration
desk.
